Edelweiss is celebrating 36 years of immersive Preschool, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs in Calgary.
Our school is named after the Edelweiss flower, a symbol of lasting love and adventure. True to our name, our mission is to instill an early love of learning and curiosity in our students.
Our Learning Approach
We believe children learn best in a nurturing environment where their ideas are valued and curiosity is encouraged.
Through a blend of structured curriculum and open-ended STEAM learning opportunities, our program has been designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and to help our students develop a greater sense of confidence.

The learning set them up for a love of reading, science and music and they got used to having classmates in a well-supervised setting. The special events (field trips, Christmas performances and Mother's Day songs) have really become cherished memories for the whole family.
